Mission
The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory is dedicated to bringing Shakespeare to life for audiences of all ages and backgrounds, and has the following major objectives:
-Use Shakespeare’s work to educate and entertain people of all ages in the communities we serve
-Create performances that inspire an appreciation for the wonder of Shakespeare’s language
-Present performances that use the staging conditions of Shakespeare’s time to illuminate the plays in new ways for a modern audience
The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory presents 5 main stage shows a season, tours the community, and teaches multiple performance workshops throughout the year for students grades K-12.
